How to easily install membrane switches

To ensure that your membrane switch can perform at its best, we provide you with a set of simple and easy to understand installation steps and precautions. Please follow the steps below to make your installation process smoother:

Step 1: Prepare to clean the surface

Before installing the membrane switch, please ensure that the surface being bonded is flat, rust free, oil-free, and dust-free. This will ensure that the membrane switch can fit tightly and provide the best touch and durability.

Step 2: Compare size and position

Place the membrane switch at the location to be pasted, carefully compare the size, and ensure that the switch matches the surface of the equipment perfectly. At the same time, check if the position is accurate for smoother installation in the future.

Step 3: Partial peeling of centrifugal paper

Starting from the bottom edge of the membrane switch, gently peel off about 10mm of centrifuge paper. Please note not to excessively peel off to avoid affecting subsequent operations.

Step 4: Gradually Paste

Stick the film switch part that has been peeled off from the centrifuge paper to the corresponding position, and then slowly tear off the remaining centrifuge paper. During the tearing process, please ensure that the angle does not exceed 15 degrees to avoid damaging the film switch. Paste the switches in the corresponding positions one by one, ensuring that they are flat and free of bubbles.

Step 5: Temporary Placement

If you need to temporarily place the film switch with the centrifugal paper torn off from the back during the pasting process, be sure to place it upside down to prevent it from sticking to other objects. This can avoid affecting the pasting effect and ensure that the switch can be installed smoothly.

One time completion: The pasting process of the membrane switch needs to be completed at once and cannot be repeated. Therefore, please carefully confirm the preparation work before starting to ensure that the operation is correct.

Tear angle: During the process of tearing off centrifugal paper, please make sure to maintain a tear angle of no more than 15 degrees to avoid damaging the film switch.

Test press feel: When testing the feel of the film switch, please make sure to place it flat on the desktop before pressing, and do not hold it in your hand and press it in the air. This can ensure that the membrane switch is tested under normal working conditions and avoid affecting its service life.
