Membrane buttons, also known as membrane panels or membrane switches, are widely used in intelligent instruments, medical instruments, household appliances such as microwave ovens, soybean milk machines, washing machines and other products. In some cases, the cost of film buttons for the entire product is relatively small. When returning to the factory for repair, the round-trip shipping and labor costs are often higher than buying a new one, and then lose the value of repair. But in some cases, being able to repair Sun's damaged film buttons in a timely manner can bring important convenience. Below is an explanation of the repair method for the film button:


(1) From a technical perspective, replacing the membrane buttons is not a complicated operation. You can first disassemble the membrane panel, lift up the layer of button film on top, and use a multimeter to check the connection positions between each button switch point and the circuit board to ensure that the modified switch connection points correspond to the original ones.


(2) Use a positioning cone to create a positioning hole on the metal plate from each switch point of the lower film. The size of the hole worn is slightly larger than the practical size of the micro switch button column, to ensure that the micro switch button column can move up and down in the hole without being obstructed. If the hole is too small, it will affect the elasticity of the switch and cause the switch button to malfunction.


(3) Carefully compare the distance between each small hole on the gold moon board, fix the micro switch on the printed board, and connect the connecting wires according to the corresponding connection points of each switch. Leave corresponding printed board edges according to the practical space between the metal plate and the display board to fix the switch board. As the new switch board is located between the metal plate and the indicator light display board, holes corresponding to the indicator light positions on the display board must also be drilled on the printed board to ensure that the display signal can be seen from the panel when the light-emitting tube of the display board passes through the printed board. There should be a certain distance between the circuit and the two boards to prevent short circuits.


(4) Insert the pre made printed switch board into the small holes corresponding to each button switch and metal plate, so that the top of the button pillar is parallel to the metal surface. If it exceeds the board surface too high, the outer panel film will press down on the switch and cannot be used. If it is too low, the switch will not work if it is not in place when pressed by hand. After embedding the broken switch board, use a rubber pad to flatten it and apply the left adhesive to the metal plate. Then restore the outer protective film of the panel to its original state. The modification process is completed, and the modified switch board has a very good feel to operate. There is a clear sound of shrapnel when pressing the button, giving a very intuitive switch on/off feeling. Stop feeling! Long service life, high reliability, and easy protection. If a switch is broken during use, it can be directly judged by the sound of the spring when pressing the button and replaced!
