Membrane switch manufacturers are well aware that high-quality membrane panels are the key to ensuring product performance and user experience. Therefore, we will conduct meticulous and rigorous inspections on every batch of film panels that have been produced or are about to leave the factory. Below, I will share with you eight aspects of our inspection of thin film panels:

Raw material inspection: We will conduct a detailed inspection of the raw materials used, such as adhesives, bonding agents, panels, carbon ink, etc., to ensure that they fully comply with the standards specified in the drawings.

Shape comparison: We compare the shape, conductor lines, insulation treatment, and lining plate combination of the thin film panel with the drawings or physical samples to ensure complete consistency.

Dimensional verification: For parts on the drawing that are not clearly marked with tolerances, we will verify them according to industry standards, while for other parts, we will strictly follow the specifications on the drawing.

Appearance inspection: We attach great importance to the appearance quality of the film panel and carefully inspect for obvious defects such as missing strokes, stains, ink peeling, color spots, scratches, etc. At the same time, we will also check whether the printing template, key combination, etc. are accurate to ensure that there is no deviation phenomenon.

Color verification: We will use visual inspection to compare with samples or color cards to ensure that there is no difference in color. For products with particularly strict color requirements, we will also use a colorimeter for accurate comparison.

Ink adhesion test: To ensure the adhesion of the ink, we will use transparent tape for adhesion testing. Quickly peel off after 10 seconds and observe if there is any ink peeling phenomenon. At the same time, we will also conduct a dry adhesive test on the insulation ink to ensure that the insulation surfaces do not adhere to each other.

Peel strength testing: We will test the peel strength of the adhesive to ensure that it is not lower than the standard of 8N/25mm, in order to ensure the stability and durability of the product.

Bubble inspection: We will conduct a bubble inspection by applying appropriate force to simulate the actual usage situation. The force required for flat bubble inspection is 57-284g, while for tactile type it is 170-397g. Through this inspection, we can ensure that the thin film panel will not experience bubbling during actual use.
